Hi, I’m Mercedes – and everyone who knows me says I have WAY TOO MUCH jewelry. But read on, there’s a reason for this.

When I first started ClassyGirl, I was a young student who loved to accesorize and I was simply excited to share beautiful jewelry with other women who loved accessories as much as I did. But to be completely honest, the early days were far from perfect. I didn’t fully understand how important metal quality, skin sensitivity, and durability were–or how it makes people feel when jewelry doesn’t hold up.

After a few too many refunds and disappointed customers, I knew I needed a change. I took time off to learn everything I could about metals, platings and skin reactivity. I began testing every single piece, wearing them myself, and sourcing only high-quality stainless steel jewelry with 18k gold plating that could truly stand the test of time. This right here is why I own so much jewelry.
